Abstract
With more stress being put on the quality physical education in colleges and universities , more and more contemporary college students have become interested in martial art . But the current teaching content could not meet the requirements of contemporary students in martial art. The author considers that the traditional training methodology of martial art series ,which mainly consists of arts of attack and defence ,should be strengthened to meet the requirements of students for further development of martial art, while the college students become one of the important force to drive the development of Chinese martial art .
