Present Application Situation and the Tendency of Development of CAD in Mechanical Design

Abstract

Based on creation and development of CAD conceptions,constitution,function and superiority of CAD are discussed.The two-dimension CAD and its software of low layer are being used to draw is very popular,but the three-dimensional CAD system of independent development is still immature in domestic.Mould theoretical theory and algorithm,product data management under construction will go deep into for the research in the aspect of the organic intergrations such as CAD/CAPP/CAM and ERP which are based on the PDM.The new generation of graph interactive technique,intelligent CAD technique,virtual reality technique,these are developing directions.
