Discussion on the reform of current forest cutting management

Forest resources cutting system plays an important role on advancing sustainable development of forest,ensuring the benefit of the forest operator and protecting forest resources in effect.In China,the system of forest cutting licence is the core of forest cutting quota management.It plays an important role in protecting forest resources in effect,but in the new history conditions,there are a series of problems on the separation of aims and means in forest cutting management,the singleness of forest cutting management policy,which become the important policy factors to influence and restrict the development of Chinese forestry.Therefore,Based on the management of forest sorts,the classified forest cutting management policy must carry into execution,such as public welfare forests and commercial forest,plantation and natural forest,and state-owned forest and private forest etc.
