Effects of Glutamine and Glycyl-glutamine on Growth Performance of the Weaned Piglets

Abstract

One hundred and twenty piglets were used to investigate the effect of glutamine and glycyl-glutamine on the performance of piglets weaned at 28 days.The results suggested that supplementation of 1% glutamine and 0.2% glycyl-glutamine had no effects on the ADG and the feed efficiency.On the other hand,the rate of diarrhea was reduced,but the difference wasn't significantly(P0.05).
