Abstract
Composite solid acid SO-24/Fe2O3-Al2O3 has been prepared and used as catalyst for n-butyl lactate.The optimum condition are selected as following: the mole ratio of alcohol to acid is 1∶2.5,the weight of the catalyst is 1.0g/0.1 mole lactic acid,the time is 2~2.5h,the esterification is 97.15 under these conditions.The catalyst can be used repeatedly for three times.Experimental results showed the catalyst is a good catalyst of the reaction,with higher catalytic activity,the good esterification,little waste discharged.
