Abstract

Authentication protocol is a protocol based on cryptology, with provision of various security services in the distributed system as its final objective, thus also a foundation for network security. Authentication protocol is used to implement mutual authentication in the security network. Authentication protocol is very subtle and never stands still, and thus is very difficult in design and analysis authentication protocol, because it is the best choice of strict analysis technology and the most important part of distributed security structure. Authentication protocol is specified and validated by various formalized tools with their own advantages and disadvantages.
