Abstract

Objective:To investigate the influences of two kinds of crown materials on patients' periodontal tissue.Method:60 patients who had treatments in repairing titanium alloy and cobALP chromium alloy PFM crown(50 patients in each group) were divided into 2 groups.Collect the gingival crevicular fluids respectively in 5 periods:before the treatment;wearing the temporary crown for 1 week;1,3 and 6 months after cementation. The levels of endotoxin,AST,and ALP were detected by automated chemical analyzer, and analyzed the variation between pre-restoration and post-restoration.Result:The levels of endotoxin,AST,and ALP for these two PFM have increased in the first week(P 0.05),declined after 1 monthand tended to be more stable after 3and 6 months. Conclusion:The cobALP-chromium PFM and titanium PFM both do some effects to the levels of GCF,endotoxin,AST and ALP,but they show no differences after six-months' restoration compared to before the restoration. It suggestts that these two materials are safe to be PFM material in clinic.
