Abstract
One hundred and thirty-four patients (M92, F42, age 24+16a) with bronchial asthma were treated with salbutamol powder for inhalation (Diskhaler/Ventodisk) Single dose 400ug for adult and 200ug for children, qid for 2 wk. Symptoms were markedly improved within 5 min after inhalation Value of PEFR increased by 20.3%. The mean values of FEV1 and PEFR all increased after therapy (P0.01). The total response rate was 87.3 %.
