Abstract

It is studied that sugarcane bagasse was used to adsorb Chinese traditional medicine wastewater with the decoloration rate and CODcr removal rate as evaluation indices. The factors that influenced the reaction under adsorption conditions were investigated. The results showed that CODcr erremoval rate and decoloration rate were increased firstly and then decreased as the pH increased;CODcr erremoval rate increased but decoloration rate decreased as sugarcane bagasse amount increased;temperature too high was unfavorable to the reaction;reactive time and hydrogen peroxide addition amount had significant effect on decoloration rate. The optimum operation conditions were the pH value of 5.3,the dosing quantity of 3.0g,the temperature of 35℃,the hydrogen peroxide of 4.0mL,the reactive time of 2h.And the results showed that the removal efficiencies of color and CODcr reached 87.59% and 51.88%.While sugarcane bagasse structure was characterilized by IR spectroscopies.
