Abstract

The paper describes the deficiency of the traditional power system,analyses the feasibility of applying GIS to the distribution power network. According to the development of the power system in our country recently,it analyzes the difficulties of building GIS of the distribution power network,supplies the space mapping model of GIS of the distribution power network,and the perfect basic function.
