Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the localization method of radiolucent ureteral calculus treated by extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy(ESWL).Method:88 patients with radiolucent ureteral calculus were localized by intravenous urography(IVU)and treated by ESWL.The calculi were confirmed by B ultrasonography or CT before lithotripsy.Result:All the calcali in the 88 patients were completely removed after treatment by 1~2 ESWL.B ultrasonography and IVU showed that the obstruction had been relieved. Conclusion:Because the radiolucent ureteral calculus can not be visualized by X-ray,can not be deceted by B ultrasonography occasionally,or can not be inaccurately localized for obesity, the radiolucent ureteral calculus is localized by intravenous urography(IVU)and treated by ESWL,which is a good selectable treatment method.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
