Abstract
Scientific concept of development not only inherits the positive factors in traditional concept of development,but also surpasses it.This article,based on the comparison between the scientific concept and traditional concept of development,seeks to a new understanding about scientific concept development from three aspects,namely,the traditional concept's apparent cause,deep roots and the surpassing of scientific concept development.
