Abstract
The grow-up stage of current college students coincides with the transitional period that China is undergoing unique great changes in both society and economy. Under such circumstances, college students will inevitably encounter various negative social phenomena. These phenomena will surely exert adverse influences on their formation of outlook of life that are reflected in such aspects as purchasing stolen bicycles, default in repaying loans, theft, cheating in examination, plagiarism, falsification, breach of contract at will, etc. Of course, the credit problem of college students has close relationship with several social factors including economy, system, ownership, culture, belief and the like. This paper, however, from the perspective of economics and regarding college students as economic people , analyzes their credit problem and puts forward some relevant proposals which involve system, law, and ethic.
