Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of montmorillonite powder retention enema in treating infantile diarrhea. Methods A total of 106 patients of infantile diarrhea were divided into two groups. The routine group received treatments of anti-inflammatory,antiviral,abatement of fever and fluid replacement therapies; the observation group received additional therapy of montmorillonite powder retention enema. The effects of the two groups were analyzed. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 91. 6% and higher than that of control group( 86. 2%). Conclusion Montmorillonite powder retention enema is beneficial to infantile diarrhea based on routine treatments.
