Abstract

As the leader of traditional ancient Chinese prose classics in the period turning from the late Qing-dynasty to modern history, Zhang Taiyan succeeded to the traditional ancient Chinese prose classics, but he was not tied by it. He displayed his unique method in explaining the traditional classics. Taking Qi Wu Lun Shi as the text, this article discussed his development to the Buddhism from Zhuang Zi, checked his new annotation to the terms of Qi Wu Lun, and exhibited his recognition of the time dimension of Zhuang Zi.Based on this study, the article discussed the turning from Zi Xue to Jing Xueand tried to expurgate the body-service relation between two the studies.
