Abstract
Objective To study the clinical effect of Levothyroxine on subclinical hypothyroidism and blood lipid level. Methods Ninety-four cases with subclinical hypothyroidism admitted in our hospital from October 2013 to October 2014 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 47 cases in each. Patients in the control group were treated by Pills of Six Drugs with Rehmannia, while those in the observation group were treated by Levothyroxine. And the response rate and changes in blood lipid level of the two groups were compared. Results The response rate was much higher in the observation group than that in the control group(93.62% vs 78.72%)(P0.05). The TC, TG and LDL levels in the observation group were much lower than those in the control group(P0.05). Conclusion For patients with subclinical hypothyroidism, Levothyroxine can effectively improve the treatment effect and reduce the blood lipid level, so it is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
