Abstract
Objective To study the anti-oxidation effects of soy isoflavone.Methods According to the tested amount of soy isoflavones,68 Kunming mice were randomly divided into four groups(High/Medium/Low Group and Control Group) with 17 mice in each group.Continually feed each group with soy isoflavones for 90 days.Then take blood/blood serum samples to measure the content of MDA and the activity level of SOD.Results The difference between high Group and control Group was statistically significant for the experiment of anti-oxidation effects in mice,which suggests that soy isoflavones can decrease the content of MDA in the blood and drive the activity of SOD.Conclusion Soy isoflavones can improve the ability of anti-oxidation and remove those free radicals.
