Abstract
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of Ganglioside(GM1) on acute cerebral infarction. Methods One hundred and Twenty-two cases with acute cerebral infarction were divided into two groups randomly. At the basic of routine treatment for the two groups,GM1 group was treated with GM1 100 mg/d for 14 days. The neurological function impairment(NFI),Activity of Daily Living Scale(ADL),movement of the body and adverse reactions were evaluated. Results After treatment, the scores of NFI and ADL were significantly decreased in two groups than before treatment(P0.05),and GM1 group were much better than control group(P0.05).Conclusion The therapeutic effect of GM1 on acute cerebral infarction is obvious.
