Abstract
The structural system of frame-core tube was applied to a 232m height of super high-rise building.Based on the building's structural characteristics and the requirements about performance-based seismic design form Technical Specification for Concrete Structures of Tall Building(JGJ3-2010),this paper carried out an elastic comparative analysis on frame structural arrangement and optimization. The comparison was concerned essentially with column space and column shape. The optimal option, the smaller column space and rectangle shape, was chosen based on the overall consideration of structural performance and architectural design.
