Effect of Ligustrum lucidum of original powder on growth performance and immunity of broilers

Effects of Ligustrum lucidum(LL) of original powder on immunity of broilers are studied.360 broilers of 1-day-old were randomly assigned to four groups.The blank was provided with basal diet,the antibiotic group was provided with basal diet and with addition of 5 mg·kg-1 flavomycin,0.5% group was provided with basal diet and with addition of 0.5% LL,1% group was provided with basal diet and with addition of 1% LL.The broilers were fed their respective diets from 1-day old to 42-day old.The results showed that adding the LL of original powder could significantly improve the daily gain of broilers in the later;0.5% and 1% group could speed up the development of the spleen and thymus;and slow down the degradation of bursa.LL powder can improve the original serum lysozyme vitality and 42-day-old,1% group had the most significant effect(P0.05).LL powder could increase serum hormones levels and immunoglobulin content,and 1% group was the most effective.Diect adding LL powder could impove the daily gain of broilers in the later abd enhance broiler′s immunity,1% group had the better effect.
