Analysis on Land Use/Land Cover Change of Yantai City

Based on the related data of land use and social economic development of Yantai city since the reform and open,this paper analyzed the land use/land cover change and its development trend.The cultivated area in Yantai city was downtrend,and the direct reason of it was the rise of construction land(residence,industry,public facility).From the social perspective,land use/land cover change is not only related to national macroscopic policy,but also has an important relationship with population quantity and social development.
