Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the effect of limbus cornea stem cell autograft transplantation with fresh amnion in treatment of recurrent pterygium.Methods:Thirty patients with recurrent pterygium were treated.Complications and pterygium recurrence were analyzed.Patients were followed for at least 1 year.Results:The treatment was significantly effective and no recurrent pterygium occurred.Conclusions:Limbus cornea stem cell autograft transplantation with fresh amnion is a safe and effective method.
