Research on Gender Differences in Learning Achievement Motivation among the University Students of P.E.in Inner Mongolia

Gender differences in learning achievement motivation among the university students of physical education in Inner Mongolia were researched by means of questionnaires.The results showed that they have a strong self-confidence and very strong sense of competition and their level of achievement motivation shows declining trends with their grades.There is no significant difference between boys and girls in grades 1-4,but girls in the grade 1 and 3 show higher level of achievement motivation than boys in the same grade.So there exist differences in all the factors between the genders in the same grade.
