Pesticide to the Acute Toxicity Influence of Goldfish

The acute toxicity tests of two kinds of pesticide(dimethoate and dichlorvos) to goldfish(Carassius auratus) by using improved karber method are investigated.After 24、48、72、96 h,the results show that dimethoate's TLm is 297.17,289.13,259.12,238.67 mg/L and dichlorvos's TLm was 39.17,33.65,27.10,25.94 mg/L,respectively.If the value of confidence level is 95%,the TLm of dimethoate was 284.25-310.67,275.17-303.81,243.33-275.93,223.98-254.33 mg/L,while that of dichlorvos is 35.77-42.91,30.78-36.79,24.10-30.47,23.30-28.89 mg/L,respectively.According to the national standard of toxicity,dichlorvos belongs to high-toxicity pesticide and dimethoate belongs to middle-toxicity pesticide for goldfish.
