Abstract
The acute toxicity tests of cadmium to goldfish were carried out by using karber method. The purpose was to evaluate the effect of cadmium on goldfish and to establish the standard demand in water quality. The results showed that when water temperature was(18±2)℃,the TLm of cadmium on goldfish in 24、48、72、96h was 7.73、6.31、6.00、5.56 mg/L respectively, and the confidence limit of 95% was 6.90~8.66、5.66~7.03、5.37~6.70、(4.92)~6.29 mg/L,and its mass concentration of safety was 0.556 mg/L.
