Clinical Observation of Early Uremia of Chronic Renal Failure Treated by "Yishen Paidu Decoction

To observe the clinical efficacy ofYishen Paidu Decoctionin the treatment of early uremia of chronic renal failure(CRF),138 cases were randomized into two groups:treatment group in which 78 cases were treated by the Dceoction and control group in which 60 cases by CAO apart from symptomatic treatment, with 2 courses of 60-day treatmemt. The clinical symptons,and the contents of urea nitrogen,creatinine,hemoglobin(Hb),plasma albumin(Alb)and blood lipid were observed before and after treatment.Results:*The stability rate and marked effective rate were higher in treatment group than in control group(P 0.05,P0.005);the contents of Hb,Alb and HPL-C remained unchanged after treatment in the two groups;but after treatment the contents of TC and TG were lower in the treatment group than in control group(P 0.05).It is indicated that the Decoction is quite effective in treating early uremia of CRF,reducing blood lipid and improving clinical symptoms.
