Clinical Effect of Yishen Decoction for Chronic Renal Failure and Effect of Related Indices

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect and related index of Yishen Decoction in chronic renal failure.Methods: 82 patients were randomly assigned to 2 groups,41 in treatment group and 41 in control group.Those patients diagnosed with chronic renal failure were treated in Zhejiang Province People's Hospital during November 2011 to October2013.The control group was treated with Shenshuaining capsule and the treatment group was treated with Yishen Decoction.The time for treatment was 12 weeks.By observing the changes of symptom scores,blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creatinine(Scr),endogenous creatinine clearance rate(Ccr),hemoglobin(Hb) and plasma albumin(Alb),we made the assessment of curative effect.Result: With treatment,the improvement rate and the efficient rate was 39.02%,87.80% in treatment group.By contrast,the improvement rate and the efficient rate was 17.07%,65.85% in control group respectively.Results showed significant difference in the improvement rate and the efficient rate of two groups(P0.05).The treatment group was better than the control one in improving the scores of Chinese medicine symptoms,surpassing the control one(P0.05).Obviously decreased BUN,Scr and enhanced Ccr of the treatment group were all better than those of the control one(P0.05).The treatment group obviously surpasses the control one in improving Hb,Alb and PAB(P0.05).Conclusion: According to the results,we can draw a conclusion that Yishen Decoction can effectively improve patients' clinical symptoms,renal function and renal anemia.This therapy could curb the further deterioration of the CRF.
