Abstract

Objective To explore the analgesic effects of ropivacaine and fentanyl on delivery. Methods With regressive analytic method 100 healthy primiparas with single fetus and term labor was randomly divided into observed group(50 cases)and control group(50 cases). In observed group, pregnant women accepted patient controlled epidural analgesia(PCEA)with ropivacaine and fentanyl while in control group who accepted nothing.Effect of analgesia, the duration of labor, modes of delivery, neonatal Apgar score and the volume of postpartum hemorrhage in 24 hours were recorded and evaluated. Results The observed group labor is shorter than that of the control group, there is a significant difference (P0.05).no significant showed in Apgar neonatal score, hemorrhage, postpartum delivery, mode of the two. Conclusion The epidual anaesthesia with the ropivacaine/fentanyl in labor analgesia is a effective and secure method of labor analgesia for having exact effect of labor analgesia, lower ratio of cesarean section, shorter labor time and good outcome of newborn.
