Abstract

After the Japanese army in the Northeast China occupied Rehe province, while they were trying to separate North China from the rest of the country , they began to promote their work in Inner Mongolia, to ensure safety along the border of Manchuria and to complete its preparations for the war with the former Soviet Union. Therefore in the central and western parts of Inner Mongolia they propped up Duke De, set up the puppet Mongolian military government and began to invade Suiyuan Province.
