The Variation of Women Education Development during the Late Qing Dynasty and the Early Republican Period

This article studies the evolving track of women education during the late Qing dynasty and the early Republican period.The author's opinion is that owing to the warming support from the bourgeois revolutionary party,the continuous update and progress of the social concepts as well as the active efforts of the advanced women,the women education of the early Republican period had a remarkable progress than that of the late Qing dynasty.Meanwhile,as the accumulated traditional disadvantages were too deep,there were inevitably evident defects with the modern Chinese women education.
