Abstract

Author holds that landscape ecology is a kind of applied ecology,which is based on human ecology and closed related with urban ecology and landscape ecology.Landscape planning and design should be regard as an ecological project.Landscape ecology studies the relationships between man's life,resource utilization,environment quality and artistic in the space which could be influnced by garden and its adjust way.The article has made a simple discussion on the name,connotation,structure,function and application of landscape ecology.
