Abstract
This paper tries to discuss the value of based on the individual discussion of the concepts of and ecology. On the basis that landscape has two aspects of scientific connotation of aliveness and figurativeness, and its ecological process is the evolutionary process of the life system on the earth, the paper draws the conclusions that landscape is the external appearance of the life system on the earth, ecology is the internal mechanism of the life system on the earth, and landscape ecology and ecosystem ecology are two mutually complementary aspects of ecology in the system perspective.
