Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of bilevel positive airway pressue(BiPAP) ventilation in treatment COPD with typeⅡrespiratory failure. Methods 24 cases with COPD and typeⅡrespiratory failure were divided into treatment group(n =12) and control group(n =12).The control group was given anti-infection,clean airway, continuously inhaling low concentration oxygen with ventilation improvement. The treatment group was treated with BiPAP ventilation in addition to the regular therapy. Results The heart rate, respiratory frequency and arterial gas analysis in treatment group were improved significantly than that in control group(P0.05).Conclusion It suggested that the non-invasive BiPAP assisted ventilation was certainly effective to COPD with typeⅡrespiratory failure.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
