An analysis on DONG Zhong-shu's philosophy of the Yi learning

He also developed the ideological concept of accomplishment of society explicated in Yi Zhuan into human cosmic view, examining culture from the height of the world outlook and examining the universe from the angle of culture. Thus he united the world outlook and cultural outlook into one, indicating that the universe was the origin and basis for cultural creation and culture develops and perfects the universe. And therefore he highly confirmed and stressed the sublime significance of value from the height of world outlook.
