Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of small bone window craniotomy on hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.Methods Fifty-eight patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage were treated with small bone window craniotomy.Activity of daily living(ADL)was used to evaluate therapeutic effect.Results A follow-up study carried out 6 months after operation showed that among the 58 patients,there were 17 cases(occupied 29.3%)at stage Ⅰ,26 cases(44.8%)at stage Ⅱ,5 cases(8.6%)at stage Ⅲ,6 cases(10.3%)at stage Ⅳ,1 cases(1.7%)at stage Ⅴ,and 3 cases(5.2%)at stage Ⅵ.Conclusion Small bone window craniotomy is effective for hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage,but its operation timing and operation indications should be strictly controlled and monitored.
