Interprting the Belief that Nature and Man Unite as One Reflected in Shen Congwen's Novels

Abstract

The union of nature and man is one of Chinese classic philosophy topics on the relationship between nature and man in ancient times.Shen Congwen's novels are full of such thoughts.It is firstly expressed by the belief of destiny,and then by the stretch and freedom of humanity.It also indicates changes of life via the image of water which is part of nature.Reading and interpreting Shen's novels and digging the belief-nature and man unite as one-in them is obviously of great realistic importance to observe the living state of modern people.
