Abstract

Isolation and purification of triterpene acid from fruit of Gardenia Jasminodes Eills were studied,the optimum processing conditions are: the granularity of powder 0.4 mm, ratio of liquid to solid 8∶1, temperature 85 ℃, 3 times of extraction of 2.5h each, and concentration of alcohol 95 %.Extraction rate of ursolic lixiviate is 92.6 %. Structural identifications by DSC,IR, EI-MS ,~1H and ~ 13 C NMR,HPLC show that the triterpene acid is ursolic acid,the average content of ursolic acid is 0.444 5 %。
