Influence of the Application of Love Poetry in Song Yu's Stories in the Five Dynasties and Two Song Dynasties

Abstract

In Song Yu's criticism history,there is a popular point of view which takes Song Yu as dissolute and prodigal.We assume that this view originated from the love poem in flowery of Mid Late Tang Dynasties and promoted by the love poetry during Five Dynasties and Two Song Dynasties.When Song Yu's stories about women were applied in those love poems,the originate facts and meanings were quoted and made up wantonly.As a result,Song Yu's image has been distorted and Song Yu's criticism has been intervened.These misleading has a negative influence on our acceptance of Song Yu,and this needs to be clarified.
