Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of point injection plus acupuncture andmassotherapy for treating vertebral artery-type cervical spondylo-pathy.Methods: 80 cases with artery-type cervical spondylopathywere randomly allocated to acupuncture-moxibustion therapy(control group) 40 cases and point injection+acupuncture-moxibustion therapy(control group) 40 cases;the changes of effects, clinical symptoms, vertebral artery, vertebral artery diameter before and after treatment were observed. Results: The total effective rate was 95.0% and 90.0% in the two groups, there was no significant difference(χ2=1.423,P0.05);the integral of clinical symptoms and signs after treatment [(5.01±0.53) points,(7.51±0.58) min] were significantly lower than before treatment [(10.01±0.77) points,(10.23±0.88) points] in the two groups(t=2.458,t=2.546,all P0.05);the integral of clinical symptoms and signs after treatment in two groups were statistically significance(t=2.489,P0.05);the vertebral artery blood flow before and after treatment in two groups were significantly different(t=2.345,2.511,2.463,2.375,all P0.05).The diameter of vertebral artery before and affer the treatment, there were significant differences(t=2.345,2.511,2.372,2.411,all P0.05).Conclusion: Point injection plus acupuncture andmassotherapy have an exact improving effect on the morphology of the vertebral artery in treating vertebral artery-type cervical spondylopathy.
