The rheumatoid arthritis and secondary osteoporosis in patients with the use of traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine treatment of the clinical effect

Objective To study the rheumatoid arthritis( RA) and secondary osteoporosis( OP) in patients with the use of traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine treatment of the clinical effect. Method in our hospital from May2010- 2012 year in May 68 cases of rheumatoid arthritis with secondary osteoporosis patients,randomly divided into two groups,34patients in the control group using salmon calcitonin nasal spray and TanSuanGaiD3Pian sustained-release tablets,2 in a row month treatment; the observation group were treated with above treatment of tonifying kidney,the same 2 months of treatment; after treatment,compared two groups of patients with symptoms,clinical treatment,bone mineral density and signs. Results the two groups of patients after treatment,the patients in observation group the total efficiency is 91. 2%,control group 73. 6%; the observation group was better than the control group,the two groups had significant difference,with statistical significance( P0. 05). The patients in observation group joint pain index,time of morning stiffness,joint swelling index and joint function indexes were significantly better than the control group,the differences between the two groups were significant,with statistical significance( P 0.05). After treatment,the patients in the observation group were Ca and BMD were significantly improved than before treatment,ESR index was significantly lower than before treatment,before and after the treatment were significant,with statistical significance( P 0. 05),while the two group patients after index comparison,difference,with statistical significance( P0. 05). Conclusion rheumatoid arthritis secondary osteoporosis patients with combination of traditional Chinese medicine combined with Western medicine treatment of the clinical effect is significant,can regulate bone metabolism is very good,it should be popularized in clinical use.
