Abstract
The 10MnNiCr steel is kind of low alloyed steel for welded structure with high strength(σ s≥440 MPa), high toughness and good welding performance. The influence of granular bainite on mechanical properties of microalloyed 10MnNiCr steel was studied. The result shows that the granular bainite is formed in the period of continuous cooling. The formation of granular bainite obviously decreases the low temperature toughness of the steel. The toughness of the steel can be apparently improved by tempering treatment, which makes the granular bainite decomposed sufficiently.
