Abstract
The effects of tempering temperature on microstructure and mechanical properties of new-type bainite steel were studied by microstructure observing and mechanical properties testing. The results show that the microstructure is a newtype of granular bainite which consists of bainite,ferrite and retained austenite after normalizing. The hardness varies a little and its match of strength and toughness is well,and the steel has excellent mechanical properties after low-temperature tempering.
