A Study on Town Spatial Structure in the Abutting Eco-crisis Regions of Hubei,Henan and Shanxi

The change of town-constructed area truly reflected the urbanization process and also reflected the development and the tendency of the town spatial structure.This paper,according to the data of TM and relative social economic statistics in 1986 and 2000,compared the town constructed area and spatial structure in the abutting eco-crisis regions of Hubei,Henan and Shanxi in 1986 with those in 2000 and analyzed the influence of natural conditions and transportation etc.on the distribution and evolution of town spatial structure.It also analyzed the tendencies of town spatial reorganization of the eco-crisis regions of the three provinces under the macroscopic background and then put forward some suggests on town spatial reorganization:1) to orient scientifically and plan rationally the urban system;2) to combine five prefecture-level cities of Xiangfan,Nanyang,Shiyan,Ankang,Shangluo;3) to bring the advantages of the county-level cities and county towns into play and make them develop into the medium-sized cities or the small cities progressively;4) to select the important small town and build it as a focal point;5) to strengthen the ecological consciousness and enhance the construction of the ecological town;6) to develop the new-type industrialization as the important support strength of urban development;7) to implement the ecological emigrant,and realize urbanization of the strange land;8) to strengthen the constructions of ecological environment,foster the green pillar industry and motivate the urbanization.
