Observation on the treatment of tuberculous pleurisy pleural effusion with combination of Chinese traditional and Western Medicine

Objective To investigate the tuberculous pleural effusion of Chinese and Western medicine combined with rapid therapy.Methods A total of 106 tuberculous pleurisy pleural effusion patients in 2010 January to 2012 December the new Temple hospital department of internal medicine outpatient treatment of patients,were randomly divided into 2 groups,treatment group were treated with combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment,the control group with conventional quadruple therapy.Results The total effective rate of treatment group was 96.3%,77.3% in the control group,the 2 groups,the difference was significant(P 0.05).Conclusion The combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine has good effect on tuberculous pleurisy pleural effusion,is worthy of attention.
