Abstract
Objective To compare the relationship of oscillatory potential between different axial length eyes and diabetic retinopathy eyes, investigate the change of retinal microcirculation in different axial length eyes. Methods This was a retrospective study.32 patients(32 eyes) with different axial length was collected to do electroretinogram,at the same time 18 patients(30 eyes) who was diabetic retinopathy proved by fundus fluorescein angiography was collected to do electroretinogram.Compare the relationship of oscillatory potential between two kind of eyes. Results ∑O of oscillatory potential in normal axial length was(143.81 ± 42.47) μv,in moderate eyes it was(93.93 ± 28.93) μv,in long eyes it was(68.43 ±17.99μv) ;∑O in Ⅲ stage of diabetic retinopathy was(108.19 ±21.21) μv,in Ⅳ stage of diabetic retinopathy it was(69.70 ± 16.63μv).There was statistical significance of those five group(F = 16.896,P 0.01).∑O of moderate eyes had no statistical significance with diabetic retinopathy either Ⅲ stage or Ⅳ stage;∑O of long eyes had statistical significance with Ⅲ stage diabetic retinopathy, however there was not statistical significance between long eyes and Ⅳ stage diabetic retinopathy. Conclusion With the growth of axial length, oscillatory potential was fall-off.Retinal microcirculation in patients who were long eyes is lower than the patients in Ⅲ stage diabetic retinopathy.
