Abstract
Ten 6-(trifluoromethyl)pyrimidine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione compoundes were synthesized by cyclization of trifluoroacetoacetate ethyl with substituted-urea.The structures were confirmed by 1H NMR and elemental analysis.The preliminary bioassay tests indicated that some compounds showed good herbicidal activities.3-(4-fluorobenzyl)-6-trifluoromethyl)pyrimidine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione exhibited herbicidal activities of 98% against Brassica napus at 100 μg·mL-1.
