Task-based Language Teaching in Secretary English Teaching

Abstract

Task-based Language Teaching(TBLT) is developed from Communicative Language Teaching theory in the 1980s.As one of the most effective teaching methods,TBLT emphasizes languages' functions in task activities,thus to reflect the effectiveness of language teaching through demonstrating the task results.This paper analyses both the necessity and feasibility of the implementation of TBLT in Secretary English class.The application of this special teaching model in Secretary English class is mainly examined.Some matters need attending to are also addressed.
