Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and the method of phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation for angle-closure glaucoma with. Methods In our hospital 60 patients with angle-closure glaucoma,86 eyes were randomly divided into two groups: 43 eyes of 30 patients treated by phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation;Control group,43 eyes of 30 patients, the line trabeculectomy. Two groups of patients, the clinical efficacy and complications,do follow-up record and analyze. Results Treatment group: 43 eyes of 30 patients with angle-closure glaucoma after treatment,35 patients with visual acuity ≥ 0.5,all patients returned to normal intraocular pressure base;control group: 16 eyes after treatment visual acuity ≥ 0.5,still higher than the intraocular pressure in some patients the normal range.Postoperative complications, the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group. Conclusions Phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation with small incision, rapid recovery, fewer complications, etc,is safe and reliable treatment for angle-closure glaucoma,is worthy of clinical application.
