Abstract
Luxun and Hushi are explorer and founder of Chinese modern literature.Their conception of literature is very important to Chinese modern literature and theories.In this paper,we simply compare their discourse upon the essence,the means of creation and the history of literature.Our aim is to find out the theory in the early days of Chinese modern literature and discuss the difference and similiarity of Luxun and Hushi's conception of literature.
