Analysis on the Level of Serum Gonadal Hormone in Male Patients with T_2DM and Hypertension

Abstract

ObjectiveTo investigate the level of serum gonadal hormone in male patients with T 2DM and hypertension.The hormone levels were measured with radioimmunology(RIA) method. Testosterone(T),estradiol(E 2) and progesterone(P) levels were compared in 28 T 2DM patients with hypertension and 25 T 2DM patients without hypertension.In the group of T 2DM with hypertension,the levels of serum T,E 2 and P decreased significantly(P0.001).[Conclusion]The disorder of gonadal hormone plays a role in the form of T 2DM with hypertension.
